Former NSW Blues captain Paul Gallen concedes that his injured bicep is hindering him in the gym but says it doesn’t affect his boxing.
In fact the 349-match NRL legend says his overall physical condition is “really good” ahead of his stoush with former heavyweight world champion Lucas Browne on Wednesday night.
Gallen injured a bicep tendon during a sparring session ahead of his victory over Mark Hunt in December, but he opted against surgery due to the lengthy recovery period that would have followed.
