Once upon a time, as hard as it is to fathom for the newer generation of Socceroos supporters, Australia found it impossible to qualify for a World Cup.
32 bloody years. Not for a lack of bloody trying. And bloody hell, certainly not for a lack of passion.
Frank Arok, gone from this earth at the age of 88, was a perfect illustration of that effort and passion.
Australian football has more people than it realises who want nothing but progress for the game in this country. Frank Arok led that charge for a while.
