Ex-Pie thanks Eddie, slams ‘bulls**t rumours’ as social media reactions flood in
The footy world is reacting to the news Eddie McGuire has stepped down as Collingwood president, effective immediately, with ex-Pie Dayne Beams thanking him for his service.
Collingwood on Tuesday afternoon announced it would hold a press conference at 4:15PM AEDT to make a major announcement.
As McGuire confirmed he was resigning as the clubs president after a 22 years at the helm, social media quickly blew up with reactions, before premiership Pie Beams weighed in.
