An ex Coles employee has revealed the way to tell how long an item will remain on sale for and it comes down to a 4-digit code hidden in plain sight.
A photo of discounted potatoes on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook page prompted the former Coles worker to reveal the handy shopping tip.
Coles shopper Teagan shared the photo of the $1.50/kg special for creme gold potatoes, along with the caption: “Park ridge, Qld Coles! Cheap spuds! Not sure for how long though.”
