Ex-bikie reveals truth behind gang life
“Gangs back then [when I joined] were like a brotherhood. As a kid I was bullied, never had many friends and I wasn’t getting along with my family … so for me, it was like a family,” Mr Geppert said.

“It’s an attractive lifestyle when you’re growing up. They see the money, the gold and the women – but there’s a lot more deep and dark things that underlie that lifestyle.
“I started experimenting with cocaine and that’s when it started to really go downhill for me … I had a bad chip on my shoulder, I thought I was Superman.”
Mr Geppert spent significant time in prison and, in September 2019, his 17-year-old brother Harry was fatally stabbed in the back during a confrontation at Frascott Park in Varsity Lakes.
