Ex-bank manager jailed for BMW fraud says prison bad for her health
Pauline Mary Smith was jailed for three years for the fraudulent transaction that left the complainants with serious financial setbacks and fighting a civil suit with Toyota over debts owed for the car.Judge John Coker ordered her sentence be suspended after serving nine months.On Friday, Smith appealed her sentence.She represented herself while appearing over video link from prison.During her sentencing in November, the court was told Smith sold a luxury BMW to the complainants for $46,000 in April…
