Former AFL player Daniel Menzel is facing a charge of sexual assault over an alleged incident late last year.
The former Geelong and Sydney Swans forward is accused of inappropriately touching a woman without her consent at a hotel in Bondi.

7NEWS has confirmed Menzel was charged in April following a NSW Police investigation into a November 23 incident.
His case was mentioned at Waverley Local Court on Tuesday.
