CCP Games has this morning announced that a native macOS Metal-powered client for EVE Online will be made available to players in the first half of 2021.

CCP Games has this morning announced that a native macOS Metal-powered client for EVE Online will be made available to players in the first half of 2021. Their development efforts according to them are “fully focused on enabling native support for macOS Big Sur and Apples powerful graphics processing framework, Metal”.
Live public testing of this client is due to commence in Q1 2021, with the full experience to be formally rolled out on the Mac in the first half of 2021.
