A leading infectious diseases expert says if Victoria can eliminate COVID-19 so too could NSW.
Associate Professor Sanjaya Senanayake, an infectious diseases specialist from the Australian National University, said Victoria’s numbers were very encouraging and the state’s road map appeared to be working.
“The government should be willing to reassess where things stand on a regular basis,” he said.
