Ethiopia’s Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed has congratulated his troops for ousting rebels in the north of the country, but the leader of Tigrayan forces says he will continue the resistance.

The nearly month-long conflict has killed hundreds, sent refugees into Sudan, involved Eritrea, and stirred rivalries among Ethiopia’s ethnic groups.
