A new map shows just how stark the wealth gap is in Essex.
The most and least expensive homes sold in Essex in 2020 have been tracked by Reach’s Data Unit using Land Registry figures.
When pinned on a map of the county, it becomes very clear where the money is concentrated in Essex and where it isn’t.
Only three out of the top 11 most expensive properties last year weren’t located in either Epping Forest or Brentwood – Essex’s two most south-westerly districts within a stone’s throw of London.
