Erick Morillo, DJ known for hit song I Like to Move It, dies at 49 – 9TheFIX

Erick Morillo, a veteran DJ who broke into the mainstream with the 1990s hit ‘I Like to Move It,’ was found dead Tuesday, Miami Beach police told Local 10 in Miami.
Morillo, who was 49, was facing charges of sexual assault and was scheduled for a court hearing on Friday.
Officers told the news outlet that they received a 911 call at 10.42am, and that detectives are on scene and in the preliminary stages of the investigation.
