Since the pandemic began, the possibility of a vaccine has been a source of hope. Now, more than half a year in, there are almost 200 COVID vaccines in development, of which eleven are in the final stage of being tested on humans. Are we there yet?
Several of these frontrunners may be approved though potentially just for emergency use by January, some experts say.
