Emirates to swap some Boeing 777X orders for more 787s – Executive Traveller
The Gulf colossus seeks to switch its Boeing mix from the biggest 777-9 to the mid-sized Dreamliner.

Emirates has decided on its preferred mix of new Boeing wide-body planes, with the focus likely to be on smaller aircraft rather than jumbo jets following a slump in demand amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Dubai-based carrier has been pushing to swap more of Boeings behemoth 777X jets of which it has ordered 115 for 787 Dreamliners, of which it already has 30 of the 787-9 variant on order.
