Emergency declared as guests flee blaze in Cairns quarantine hotel
Guests fled a Cairns quarantine hotel on Sunday morning after a fire on an upper level.
At least four crews were called at about 7am to the blaze on the eighth floor of the Pacific Hotel on the corner of the Esplanade and Spence Street.
