Joel Embiid inspired Philadelphia to a 137-134 overtime win over the Miami Heat with a stunning 45-point haul.
The Sixers had closer to a full roster back for the game after missing several of their big names over the weekend after a combination of injuries and potential exposure to COVID-19 after Seth Curry tested positive.
But Embiid and Simmons both returned for the game the former adding 16 rebounds, four assists and five steals to his 45 points – the first player in 37 years and first ever Sixer to achieve such numbers.
