EMA expects Johnson & Johnson to file for vaccine approval within days – The Irish Times
New BioNTech production site will have capacity to produce 750m doses annually

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) expects Johnson & Johnson to file for approval of its Covid-19vaccine in the EU within the next few days. Approval of this inoculation is viewed by many as pivotal in speeding up the overall rollout of vaccines, in part because it may only require one dose.
The news came as existing Covid-19 vaccine developer BioNTech begun production at a second plant in Germany, significantly boosting its output for world markets.
