A regular fill-in looks set to take the chair full-time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
A US publication has revealed actress Tiffany Haddish is tipped to replace Ellen DeGeneres after the veteran talk show host revealed shes ending her reign.
DeGeneres, 63, announced on Wednesday that she will be quitting her television show after a 19-season run.
A senior NBC source told Page Six, Haddish was a favourite as the replacement – after she filled in for Ellen in April and October.
Tiffany is a favourite, she has humour and empathy in spades, the source said to the publication.
