WA-raised Sydney Swan Elijah Taylor has been stood down by the AFL club after he was charged with aggravated assault.
Taylor will appear in Perth Magistrates Court on September 30 over an alleged incident involving an 18-year-old woman at a hotel.
Swans chief executive Tom Harley said the club had treated the matter seriously and were disappointed to have one of our players in this position.
