Eleven Queensland families in mourning after spate of fatal car crashes

Eleven Queensland families are left picking up the pieces of one of the “darkest” periods in the history of the state’s roads.
Tributes have flowed for the victims after the spate of fatalities since Friday, including father-of-four Alex Alford.
The 28 year old died when his car crashed at Eureka near Childers, while his four-month-old daughter Kahlani was left in a critical condition.
