An unthinkable mix-up has torn a family apart.

The family of an 85-year-old woman was reportedly told she was dead and buried – only to learn she was alive more than a week later.
In a case which has made headlines in Spain, Rogelia Blanco was reported dead from COVID-19 by her nursing home in the countrys north.
The La Voz de Galicia newspaper reports her family was told of her death on January 13 and her funeral was the next day.
