Elderly Gold Coast man who allegedly murdered wife has family’s ‘unwavering love and support’
The man accused of murdering his wife on the Gold Coast has his family’s “unwavering love and support”.
Max Beever, 82, remained at the Gold Coast University Hospital on Saturday after allegedly killing his wife Robyn days earlier.
He is “not in good health and has not been for a number of years”, according to a family statement issued through their lawyer.
“Naturally, their family has been absolutely devastated by this unexpected and deeply tragic turn of events,” it read.
