The weight-for-age sprint heralds the start of the campaigns of six of the eight runners.
Bivouac, a winner of two of his three Flemington straight track starts will reunite with Glen Boss, who partnered the stallion when he scored his blistering win in the Group 1 VRC Darley Classic during the spring last year.
