A single-minded focus is assured for Billy Egan when he has his first ride on Tasmanian star Mystic Journey in Saturday’s Group II PB Lawrence Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield.
Egan will have his first ride in the inaugural All-Star Mile winner after connections decided to alter the mare’s combination with Anthony Darmanin, which brought 11 wins from 18 starts.
The Adam Trinder-trained Mystic Journey will be Egan’s only ride of Saturday’s ultra-competitive PB Lawrence Stakes meeting.
