Eclaté… it’s French for busted!
A French drug courier was sentenced to four-and-a-half years’ jail by the Perth District Court last week for importing five pellets of heroin concealed inside his body.
Australian Border Force officers selected the French national for an examination and a body scan returned a positive indication of internal concealment.
The man was referred to the @AusFedPolice and taken to hospital. The heroin weighed 179 grams – worth approximately $89,500.
