Eastern suburbs school board crisis over falling results, fraud, debt – Sydney Morning Herald
Moriah College’s board elections are the most heated in more than a decade amid concern about falling HSC results, a $7.3 million fraud and a $25 million bank debt….

To quell the tension and to respond to critical letters published in the Australian Jewish News board president Stephen Jankelowitz, who runs an accounting firm, wrote to parents on Thursday. He said it had been a tough few years for the school. I write this at a time when Israel is under attack, and it is a timely reminder that our community does best when we are united, he said.
