Eastern Freeway driver Richard Pusey to fight allegations he put noose around woman’s neck
Richard Pusey, the Porsche driver at the centre of the Melbourne freeway crash which left four police officers dead, will fight allegations that he put a noose around a woman’s neck while he was on bail.

- Richard Pusey’s lawyer says his client denies any assault took place
- His alleged victim also denies the assault, but the magistrate says the case is “unusual” because there are witnesses
- Magistrate Charlie Rozencwajg ordered an interim intervention order against Mr Pusey
Mr Pusey, 42, is facing seven new charges and has since been returned to custody again over the incident on December 27 last year.
