Easter holidaymakers travelling north from Brisbane at a crawl

Traffic on sections of the Bruce Highway was at a crawl by early Friday afternoon, with Easter holidaymakers heading north from Brisbane set to be stuck in congestion.
Motorists heading to the Sunshine Coast from Brisbane had been hit with about 12 kilometres of congestion around Caboolture.
Travel had been slow for much of Good Friday, with RACQ tweeting about 10am that congestion was starting to build for people driving north.
However, about 2pm traffic was looking better for motorists heading to the Gold Coast from the city.
