Dylan Alcott is Australian Open champion for the seventh straight time thanks to a barnstorming straight-sets win over Dutchman Sam Schroder.

Dylan Alcott is Australian Open champion for the seventh straight time thanks to a barnstorming straight-sets win over Dutchman Sam Schroder.
Alcott was never threatened in his 6-1, 6-0 win, which was played on Margaret Court Arena after the Rafael Nadal-Stefanos Tsitsipas quarter-final went to five sets on Rod Laver Arena.
Alcott profusely thanked organisers for putting on the tournament in trying circumstances.
