Dying of cancer, Rebecca’s wedding day just can’t wait – Sydney Morning Herald
Battling a rare form of ovarian cancer, Rebecca Gallo doesn’t have the luxury of time to postpone her nuptials. On August 7, she’ll marry her partner, Ryan Hurst.

We were ready to get engaged for a long time, but with everything that happened last year it just didnt end up happening, Ms Gallo says. And then COVID hit.
Fast forward to today, and the couple is busy planning to wed on their two-hectacre Kinglake property on August 7. The problem is, the date falls in the middle of Melbournes second lockdown, with current restrictions meaning they can’t have a wedding with any loved ones from Melbourne let alone their dream wedding with hundreds.
