Duo rushed to hospital with burns after suspected explosion at Gold Coast cafe
A person is in a critical condition and another has been seriously injured after a reported explosion at a Gold Coast cafe.
The duo have been rushed to hospital after paramedics were called to the Pit Stop Cafe in Ashmore on Tuesday morning.
Paramedics have described the event as a “workplace incident”.
It’s understood the patient in a critical condition has been taken to the burns unit at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
