Politicians are hopeful the region will be moved to level one of the restriction system when the latest review takes place tomorrow
Dumfries and Galloway could be moved to level one of the Scottish Governments coronavirus restriction system later this week.
The results of the latest review are due to take place tomorrow with politicians hopeful the region will be moved from level two, where it has been since the system was introduced last month.
That would mean pubs and restaurants could open longer and wet pubs – bars which dont offer food – would be able to reopen.
