Duke returns on loan for Wanderers – The World Game
Western Sydney Wanderers have confirmed that striker and former club captain Mitchell Duke will return from Saudi Arabia on loan for the remainder of the A-League…
The 30-year-old departed the Wanderers in September 2020 after scoring 14 goals in 26 matches in the chaotic 2019-20 season.
At the time it was reported that the Wanderers had offered Duke a contract, but the move to Saudi Arabia proved too lucrative to turn down.
Duke scored one goal in 18 matches for the club, however, if he rediscovers the form he had in the A-League it will come as a much-needed boost for the Wanderers who have scored just five goals in five matches so far this season.
