Due to the widespread community transmission of COVID-19 across Papua New Guinea (PNG), passenger flights from PNG into Cairns are suspended.
All outbound travel exemptions by Australians to Papua New Guinea have also been suspended, except for critical workers providing assistance to PNG’s COVID-19 response and people undertaking critical safety roles.
Passenger flights to Brisbane are still operating on a 25 per cent reduced capacity. Contact your airline or travel provider for information.
