Driver in court over alleged Sunshine Coast hit-and-run which killed young man
A man accused of killing a 21-year-old pedestrian in an alleged hit-and-run on New Year’s Day has cried uncontrollably after appearing in court.
Andrea ‘D’Onofrio, 25, appeared in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Friday after being charged over the death of Sunshine Coast man Henry Jennings.
Jennings was walking on Maroochy Boulevard when he was allegedly struck by a vehicle driven by D’Onofrio about 1.30am on January 1.
