Dramatic dash for freedom lands hotel quarantine guest in watchhouse

A woman scaled balconies and kicked down a door in a dramatic escape from hotel quarantine in Queensland because she wanted to be with her mum.

Police allege the 32-year-old flew home to Cairns from Sydney last Thursday and was placed into quarantine at the Pacific Hotel.
