A Sri Lankan beauty pageant has been mired in controversy after the reigning Mrs World snatched the crown off the local winners head as she was receiving the honour.
Moments after Pushpika De Silva was crowned Mrs World Sri Lanka in Colombo on Sunday night, reigning Mrs World Caroline Jurie – the 2019 Sri Lankan winner – stepped in to stop the show.
