Dow Jones closes at record high, briefly tops 32,000 – The Australian Financial Review
Australian shares are set to recoup most of Wednesday’s losses as US stocks reset higher. The Dow rose 425 points, after shares in Boeing surged.

Nine of the S&P 500s 11 industry groups advanced, paced by a 3.6pc gain in energy. Industrials and financials were each up near 2pc. Utilities and consumer staples lagged.
The yield on the US 10-year note was 4 basis points higher to 1.39pc at about 4.35pm in New York. Bitcoin was up about 1pc to $US48,400 at about 8.40am AEDT on bitstamp.net.
In his second day of testimony to Congress, Mr Powell again struck a soothing tone for investors.
