‘Don’t say nothing’s wrong’: Clarke bewildered by selectors’ perplexing Paine claim – Fox Sports
Former Australian captain Michael Clarke has taken aim at selectors for what he perceives to be a questionable claim surrounding captain Tim Paine.
Paine has been heavily scrutinised for both his tactical choices as captain and struggles at wicketkeeper.
In a vote of confidence to the 36-year old, he has retained both the gloves and captaincy as the Test squad for the South Africa tour was announced.
It was one comment from national selector Trevor Hohns that bothered Clarke though.
