Donald Trump says he will not attend Joe Biden’s inauguration
US President Donald Trump said he will not be attending President-elect Joe Biden’s Inauguration on January 20.
He will be the first incumbent president since Andrew Johnson in 1869 to skip his successor’s inauguration.
“To all of those who have asked, I will not be going to the Inauguration on January 20th,” Mr Trump tweeted.
Mr Trump offered no clues for how he would spent his final hours in office.
More to come.
