Domino’s rival Yum! Brands to buy food tech platform Dragontail – The Australian Financial Review
Pizza Hut owner Yum! Brands plans to buy Dragontail, the food tech company behind the pizza checker of Domino’s.

Dominos uses Dragontails AI camera technology in Pizza Checker, a smart scanner that uses machine learning, AI and sensor technology to check the quality of pizzas before they are delivered to customers. Dominos believes Pizza Checker has helped the pizza chain improve net promoter scores.
Dominos declined to comment on whether its relationship with Dragontail would continue, saying the information was commercially sensitive.
