Dogs star responds to coach’s sobering warning amid failed trade fallout

Western Bulldogs star Josh Dunkley has conceded he isnt playing his best footy and admitted the desire for more midfield minutes played a part in his decision to request a trade to Essendon last year.
Dunkleys request to head to the Bombers was one of the shocks of the trade period, with the 24-year-old contracted until the end of 2022.
On Wednesday, Dogs coach Luke Beveridge said Dunkley wasnt at his best and faced pressure for his spot, something he responded to on SEN Drive.
