The superstar playmaker scored two tries in six minutes through little more than sheer willpower.
He put the weight of GIO Stadium on his back and stepped, palmed and wrestled his way to tries in the 48th and 54th minutes.
In the time Starling spent in the sin bin, Wighton put the Raiders in front.
Hudson Young then crossed to follow his teammate’s one-two punch with a haymaker and Starling finished the job with his second.
