Doctor shortage crippling Gunnedah, impacting nearby health services, inquiry hears

A north-west New South Wales mother has told a state parliamentary inquiry that rural children can face a wait-time of two years for paediatric appointments and that weekday births are preferable because of a lack of doctors in her town.
