‘Do we know if Simon Goodwin can coach?’: AFL great’s scathing Dees take – Fox Sports
Port Adelaide champion Kane Cornes is unconvinced Melbourne coach Simon Goodwin has what it takes to succeed in the role and has suggested the Dees put star midfielder Clayton Oliver, “a shadow of the player he was two years ago”, on the trade table.
Melbourne have been subject to fierce criticism after their 51-point loss to Port Adelaide at the Gabba, which Goodwin labelled unacceptable and defender Steven May said was not good enough.
Cornes said it was yet to be proven if Goodwin was actually a good senior coach.
