Distress call sparks rescue operation for capsized sailor near North Stradbroke Island
A sailor has capsized his vessel off North Stradbroke Island on Monday morning, sparking a search and rescue operation by multiple agencies to locate him.
The distress call came in at 4:40 am, prompting immediate action from the Sunshine Coast-based LifeFlight aeromedical crew.
