Disgraced Brisbane dentist Peter Agnew sentenced over indecent assault of patient

A Brisbane dentist jailed earlier this year over the rape of a woman 40 years ago has been sentenced over another assault with disturbing similarities.

Disgraced practitioner Peter Agnew, 68, pleaded guilty in Brisbane District Court on Monday to indecently assaulting his wife’s friend in 1979.

The prosecution said Agnew lured the then-20-year-old into his dental chair at Sunnybank Hills and placed a mask over her face, attempting to drug her.
