Dirty dozen: Tahs crash to record-equalling 12th loss, Brumbies salvage pride – Sydney Morning Herald

Almost every time the Highlanders entered the Waratahs 22, they scored. It was that simple. When they went wide, they scored. When they went to set piece, they scored. When they were gifted turnover ball, they scored.
Every time the home side strung a few phases together, the Waratahs defensive system would fall apart. Nothing is inevitable in sport, but the Highlanders missing star All Blacks Aaron Smith and Shannon Frizell scoring every time they entered the Waratahs half sure felt like it.
