‘Difference in opinion’ over what killed ambulance patient involved in collision outside of RAH, court hears

An Adelaide court has heard there is a difference in opinion over what caused the death of an ambulance patient involved in a collision near the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH), two years ago.

A 69-year-old man from Westbourne Park was a patient inside an ambulance when it rolled onto its side just outside of the hospital in September 2018, after colliding with another car.

The Adelaide Magistrates Court heard the patient was on his way to the RAH with a brain bleed.
