The other week came the news that Showtime was reviving its Michael C. Hall-led drama series “Dexter” with a limited series from original showrunner Clyde Phillips.
The news comes seven years since the show went off the air following eight seasons and a widely panned finale in which Dexter Morgan effectively departs Miami and is now hiding out as a lumberjack. Both Phillips and Hall have previously discussed their dissatisfaction with the ending.
